As a freelancer, it can be a difficult career. You are always bouncing from project to project and company to company. The pay is not always as high as you would want and it can be a different kind of lifestyle than most have. As you take on your day-to-day work day, you want to make sure you have the right food to keep you fueled throughout the afternoon. Find 5 good afternoon snacks you can eat below!
You can try having fruit and nuts. You want to have a snack that is nutritious and can provide your body energy. There are great trail mixes out there that you can try to fuel you throughout the afternoon.
You can have some crackers and cheese to help you get some good carbohydrates and new levels of protein. There are different kinds of cheeses out there that come in small cubes or slices that you can add.
Protein shakes are always good to keep you fueled. You can make your own or buy a pre-made one at the supermarket. There are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and more!
You can try a piece of toast with your favorite toppings such as nutella and strawberries, peanut butter and honey, avocado, or anything else you can think of!
Lastly, you can try having some vegetables with hummus to get you some final nutrition before you finish up your day and go to dinner!
